stressed

  whenever we do any city exploration we eventually  find ourselves in a cafe to seek air conditioning and something cold to drink.  i have unfortunately not taken pictures yet.  maybe tonight when we go to a park close to the river.  we started teaching and i like the kids, but the school is a mess.  the management is crap, but we don't have much longer there anyway.  the first week of august we'll leave saigon for can tho living in a city of two million people instead of ten million.  i think we get tired doing even menial tasks around here because we're dealing with throngs of people everywhere we go.  oh well, i've learned to push my way through crowds and lines or else someone will just push ahead of you.

weather's hot hot hot of course.  getting used to being sweaty all the time too.  i'm amazed by women on the streets wearing sweaters and pants to protect themselves from the sun.   i wear regular lightweight summer clohtes, but a bonnet as well to protect my face from the sun.
pool by my mom's house is nice.  only 75 cents to get in.  maybe we will go again today.  we're off of work until tomorrow evening at 5:30.  i haven't reviewed what is happening in that class yet.  tonight tonight!  we will also give our thirty days notice to quit this mess of a money making english machine school tomorrow. eeeeh!
